Timeshare Advocacy International, LLC is the timeshare industry’s first Advocacy Group that was specifically designed to help timeshare owners who have been victimized by deceptive sales practices during a purchase or upgrade of a timeshare, vacation ownership, or vacation club.
In January of 2009 TAI was formed. After months of research into consumer rights laws in every state in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico TAI developed a process to get timeshare owners out of their timeshare contracts. Over the last 4 years we have successfully assisted in the outright cancellation of over 3000 timeshare contracts.
Our team of advocates are consumer rights specialists who are in no way shape or form associated with the timeshare industry. The fact is, our advocates do not own timeshares and have never worked in the timeshare industry. This is important to note. We will never try to get you to want to keep your timeshare, or try to sell you any vacation packages.
There are companies who claim to help timeshare owners cancel their timeshare contracts, but as part of their process they will intentionally get their clients to purchase one of their timeshares at a “great price”. We do not buy, sell, or rent timeshares, vacation ownerships, or vacation clubs. Our goal is quite simple, we want to end your timeshare nightmares once and for all.
My name is Sean Austin and I am the President and CEO of TAI. If you have a timeshare and feel that what you have is not what you were sold, we can help. After serving 21 years in the Navy, I retired to sell timeshares for the largest timeshare developer in the world. Prior to selling timeshares I must admit that I did not even know what a timeshare was. It did not take me long to realize that selling timeshares was not the path for me. From the top down deception, smoke and mirrors, misrepresentations, and misleading information was the only sales process followed. In the Navy I served as a Master Chief where Honor, Courage and Commitment were our core values. Unfortunately, the timeshare industry does not follow those values.
After leaving timeshare sales, I was really disturbed in the fact that the sales I did make were less than honorable. In an attempt to make myself feel better I took to the internet to find out how big of a problem deception was within the timeshare sales industry. What I found was quite disturbing. ARDA, American Resort Developers Association, was the only real supposed regulation authority within the timeshare industry. According to their data, ethics in timeshare sales has been a problem for quite sometime, but there has been nothing done about it. ARDA’s own Ethics Board is chaired by the executives from all the timeshare developers. That is what I call a real conflict of interest. During my research phase I spoke to many timeshare owners and government agencies who told me that although the timeshare owners feel their were out right lied to, there was nothing any agency could do. This is where I was light at the end of the tunnel for timeshare owners.
If you feel that your timeshare is not what you were promised by your sales rep, call us today to get a free, no-obligation, consultation. If we can help you our process comes with a 100% Money Back Guarantee. We are accredited with the BBB of Middle Tennessee and members of the Chamber of Commerce.
At TAI we are not a law firm and we do not give legal advice. Unfortunately, this is not a legal issue because the timeshare industry has iron clad contracts. This is a consumer rights issue and MUST be dealt with that way. Any other process can get you out, but with a foreclosure and the results will be devastating.
